Surron Brake Pads Copper Sintered | Talaria X3, Eride Pro

These Surron brake pads are a copper sintered upgrade for the stock MTB-size calipers on the Surron Light Bee, Talaria X3, MX3, MX4, and Eride Pro. In lab testing they held 0.49 to 0.57 friction at 350°C, where stock OEM pads drop about 20%. One set per order covers one caliper.

Specs:

• Copper sintered compound - built for the heat of hard, repeated braking.
• 0.49 to 0.57 friction at 350°C vs 0.35 to 0.50 for stock OEM - bite holds steady from 100°C to 350°C instead of fading.
• 6.12 MPa bond strength vs about 4.5 MPa stock, 35% stronger - the pad material stays bonded under heat.
• 0.12 to 0.35 wear rate, lower than stock - more miles between pad swaps.
• 40 to 50 HRR hardness - tuned to be easy on rotors.
• 4.50 g/cm³ density vs 3.5 to 4.3 stock - more thermal mass to soak up heat.
• Stock MTB-size caliper fitment - a drop-in replacement for the OEM pads.
• 1 set per order - covers one caliper. Order 2 for front and rear.

Do I need these or the Moto Brake pads?

Check your caliper. If your bike still runs the factory MTB-size caliper, these are the pads. If you installed a Moto Brake kit or ride an Ultra Bee, get the Moto Brake pads linked above.

Will they fit my Talaria X3?

Yes. They fit the stock caliper on the Talaria X3, plus the MX3 and MX4. Pick your bike from the options and one set covers one caliper.

Do they fit the Surron LB2 or the Ultra Bee?

No. The LB2 is a new frame and a new design, not a Light Bee, and it uses different brakes. The Ultra Bee runs a larger caliper that takes the Moto Brake pads.

How many pads come in an order?

One set per order, which covers one caliper. Doing front and rear? Order 2 sets.

How do they compare to stock pads?

In lab testing they kept their bite at 350°C, where stock pads lose about 20% of theirs. The bond is 35% stronger and they wear slower, so they last longer under stunt and enduro riding.
