Shipping &
Handling
Every number on this page is measured from our own shipping data, not estimated. Handling and transit are two separate clocks, and understanding the difference answers most questions about where an order is.

01 — Handling
Handling Time
All FactoryZ orders ship from our facility in Wisconsin.
Orders placed before 10:00 AM CT on a business day generally ship the same business day. Orders placed after 10:00 AM CT, on a weekend, or on a holiday ship the next business day.
During product launches and high volume periods, handling can take an extra business day. Handling is not a guarantee, it is what our shipping data shows on a normal week.
02 — Cancel Window
The Cancellation Window
Because we ship fast, the window to cancel is short. It closes the moment a shipping label is created for your order.
No label created yet. We cancel at no fee and the full amount goes back to your original payment method.
Label already created. The order is committed and we can no longer cancel it. It becomes a return under our Returns and Cancellations policy, which means you cover shipping both directions and a restocking fee may apply.
If you need to cancel, contact us immediately rather than waiting. Full refund and restocking terms are in our Returns and Cancellations policy.
03 — Carriers
Carriers
We ship UPS and USPS. The carrier is selected per package based on size, weight, and destination.
That means the shipping method you chose at checkout does not always match the carrier that ends up carrying your package. Your tracking number is what confirms which carrier has it. If your tracking number starts with 1Z it is UPS. If it starts with 92 it is USPS.
04 — Transit
Transit Time
Transit is a separate clock from handling. It starts when the carrier physically collects the package, not when you receive the shipping notification.
| Destination | Typical Transit |
|---|---|
| Most of the continental US | 3 to 5 business days |
| Close to Wisconsin | 1 to 2 business days |
| Hawaii, Alaska, far West Coast | Up to 6 business days |
These are estimates, not guarantees. Once your package has been scanned, the carrier's own estimated delivery date is the most accurate source and it will be more current than anything we can tell you.
05 — Tracking
Tracking Not Updating
A label is created when your order is packed, and you get your shipping notification at that moment. The first carrier scan normally lands within 1 business day of that notification.
Until that scan happens your tracking page will look empty, as though nothing has moved. This is normal and it is the single most common thing customers write to us about. The package is with the carrier, waiting to be processed into their network.
If your tracking has not moved 3 business days after your shipping notification, reply to your order confirmation and we will look into it.
06 — Delivery
Delivery Problems
Marked delivered but not received. Check with neighbors, around the property, and any alternate delivery spots first. Carriers occasionally scan a package early or leave it out of sight. If it has not turned up after 24 hours, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier.
Address errors. Enter your shipping information carefully at checkout. FactoryZ is not liable for packages delivered to an incorrect address supplied at checkout, and a reshipment in that case is at your cost.
Delays outside our control. Once a package is with the carrier we do not control its movement. FactoryZ is not liable for delays caused by carrier network issues, weather, or customs clearance.
07 — Special Cases
International & Built to Order
International orders. Customs clearance adds time beyond normal transit and is outside our control. Duties and import fees are handled per the shipping terms on your order and are the responsibility of the recipient unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Built-to-order items. Wheel sets and other built-to-order components carry a build time before they ship. The build time is stated on the product page and at checkout. Transit begins after the build is finished, so the handling window above does not apply to them. Built-to-order items cannot be cancelled once the build has started.
Pre-orders. If a product is listed as a pre-order, the estimated ship date is noted on the product page. Those dates can move based on supplier or logistics delays, and we notify customers of any significant change.
