The Yozma IN 10 ships mostly assembled. The standard IN 10 and the IN 10 Pro share the same controller, dashboard, and E-code system — they differ in battery, power, and top speed — so this guide covers both and calls out the differences. Out of the Crate

Following the manual’s assembly steps, you’ll fit the front wheel (axle through the tire and bushings), the front brake, the rear shock absorber, the fenders, and the number plate and front light. Motor, controller, and battery ship installed. Inventory the box against the parts list and inspect the frame, fork, and wheels for shipping damage before you build.

Know which bike you have — both share the same fault codes and torques, but the numbers differ. The IN 10 runs a 2600 W motor, a 54 V / 23.4 Ah pack, and a 40 mph top speed (55 kg, 72 cm seat). The IN 10 Pro steps up to a 4500 W motor, a 60 V / 27 Ah pack, and a 47 mph top speed (65 kg, 78 cm seat). Both are rated to a 120 kg maximum load.

First-Ride Setup Checklist

Charge to 100% first.

Charge fully before the first ride with the included charger. The manual lists about 5–6 hours for the IN 10 and 6–7 hours for the IN 10 Pro. A full charge sets an honest range baseline.

Set tire pressure.

Check both tires are at the correct PSI before you ride — low rear pressure is a common cause of short range and sluggish running in the manual’s own troubleshooting.

Torque the critical fasteners.

Shipping vibration loosens hardware. Torque the fasteners below to the manual’s figures with a torque wrench — don’t eyeball it.

Check the brakes.

Squeeze each lever: the brake must cut motor power and stop the wheel in time, with firm tension. Adjust or bleed before riding if the bite is soft.

Bed the brake pads in.

From a safe roll, make 20–30 progressive stops, light to firm, without locking up, to lay an even layer of pad material onto the rotor.

Function-check before you send it.

Power on and confirm the dashboard shows charge and no error indicator. The bike starts in 1st gear (ECO); it has 3 gears switched from the dashboard buttons. Don’t ride in high gear until you’re ready.

Torque-Critical Fasteners

The owner’s manual prints torque figures for the fasteners that matter most on assembly. Torque each one to the manual’s figure with a torque wrench — don’t eyeball it:

  • Front axle nut — 40–50 N·m
  • Front brake disc bolts — 10 N·m
  • Rear shock absorber bolts — 40–50 N·m
  • Fender, number-plate & front-light screws — tighten per the manual
  • Handlebar & control clamps — tighten per the manual

How the Yozma IN 10 Reports Faults

The 6 Most Common Faults

1 · Bike won’t start or run

Likely
Per the manual: a flat battery, or loose / poorly plugged wires and cables. A deep-discharged pack can also show low-voltage protection E06.
Fix
Fully charge the battery, then check that every cable is firmly plugged into the controller. Confirm the dashboard shows charge before riding.

2 · Brake Error (E02)

Likely
E02 Brake Error: the controller sees the brake input engaged or a brake-cutoff signal fault, so it holds power.
Fix
Check the brake levers return fully and aren’t binding, and inspect the brake cut-off switch and its connector. The brake must cut power cleanly when squeezed.

3 · Throttle Error (E08)

Likely
E08 Throttle Error: a bad throttle signal or a throttle that isn’t returning to zero.
Fix
Make sure the throttle snaps fully closed on its own and re-seat its connector, then power-cycle. If E08 returns, replace the throttle.

4 · Motor Error (E07)

Likely
E07 Motor Error: a fault in the motor or its signal wiring between motor and controller.
Fix
Inspect the motor phase and sensor connectors for a loose pin, corrosion, or water. If the motor and wiring test good, the fault is usually internal and needs service.

5 · Low Voltage Protection (E06)

Likely
E06 Low Voltage Protection: the pack has dropped too low and the controller is protecting it; the bike won’t run at full speed or at all.
Fix
Charge the pack fully. If it won’t hold a charge, the battery may be at end of life — the manual notes a typical 1–2 year battery lifespan.

6 · Communications / BMS Error (E10 / E12)

E10 Communications Error or E12 BMS Communications Error: the dashboard, controller, and battery have lost their data link.
Fix
Turn the bike off, then re-seat the connectors between the dashboard, controller, and battery and dry out any moisture before retrying.

▲ STOP A Controller Error (E09) or BMS Communications Error (E12) that returns after re-seating connectors, or anything that calls for opening the battery or controller, is service and warranty territory — major parts are labeled and warranted; unlabeled parts are not. Don’t force it.
