The caliper’s larger pistons and pads provide far greater clamping force and heat capacity than the stock Sur-Ron brake. We pair it with a robust brake master cylinder & lever assembly that offers better leverage and uses high-temp DOT4 fluid (for reference, DOT-based brake fluids have significantly higher boiling points than typical mineral oil, meaning they outperform stock fluids under extreme use. With this setup installed, you’ll immediately notice a firmer lever feel and shorter stopping distances. Complete Upgrade Kit – Ready to Install: Our Sur-Ron LBX brake kit includes everything needed to replace your front or rear brake. In the box, you’ll find a CNC-machined adapter bracket that bolts to your Sur-Ron’s fork or swingarm, a dual-piston floating caliper (with brake pads pre-installed), a braided high-pressure brake line, and a matching brake master cylinder with an adjustable lever. All components are pre-assembled and pre-bled, filled with DOT4 fluid, so you can install and go. We’ve designed the bracket and caliper to work with a larger brake rotor for optimal results. While the Sur-Ron’s factory rotors are about 203 mm in diameter, our kit is designed around using a 240mm rotor for maximum stopping power (a larger rotor provides more than 20% greater braking force and heat absorption capacity. The caliper will bolt up to the front position on the Light Bee X. That means you can upgrade the front brake, rear brake, or both (requires rear kit) depending on your needs. The included bracket uses existing mounting points and hardware, making installation straightforward. No major modifications are required. This is a true bolt-on upgrade for your Sur-Ron.
Fitment Notes: This kit is intended for the Sur-Ron Light Bee X and Segway equivalents (X260 and X160). It maintains compatibility with the Sur-Ron’s stock 19-inch wheel and hub setup. you must use our 240mm x 3.3mm brake rotor that is provided in the kit. The kit’s caliper is an OEM caliper off the Surron Ultra Bee. (This brake upgrade is not designed for the newer Surron Ultra Bee or Storm Bee) For any Sur-Ron LBX or Segway X series, installation takes about 30–60 minutes with basic tools.
